ACE Construction Authority DBE Program
As a recipient of federal funds from the U.S. Department of Transportation (U.S. DOT), the ACE Construction Authority is pleased to report that it has received approval of its Annual Anticipated DBE Participation Level (AADPL) of 15% for FFY 2009/10 from the California Department of Transportation (Caltrans).
In response to directives issued by Caltrans Director Will Kempton on March 4 2009, Caltrans has transitioned from a race-neutral DBE Program to a race-conscious DBE Program of limited application to the four (4) Underutilized Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (UDBE) groups. Accordingly, the ACE Construction Authority will reinstitute consideration of contract-specific UDBE goals on its Federal-aid procurements.
